The only thing to to here is to ask TK to change the IST-NBO ticket to a later flight. If there is no award availability, then this will need to be done via a ticket office, where they can ask HQ to release an award seat. Call centre will not do this.
(Because SEA-IST is a separate ticket and there have been no schedule changes, that ticket can only be amended as per usual rules.)
A later NBO flight has issues due to booked ex NBO safari (as below from post 1). Would not suggest arriving NBO and joining a safari on the same day. An overnight or more time on the ground is far less risky.
. The two solutions are to overnight in IST and take the IST-NAI flight the next day which gets into Kenya a few hours before my safari tour starts (vs 1.5 days before),
When are the flights?
Flight 1. SEA IST
Flight 2. IST NBO. TK rescheduled. such that is now departs a few hours before the SEA IST flight arrives. Original departure time has 1.5days in NBO before a safari (so a good margin)
