Most of the bars didn't have drink menu's unless you asked for one and then sometimes they had one sometimes they didn't.
Thank you for the great review as my wife and I are considering doing our first visit to an AI. We travel extensively and prefer to get more into the culture of an area. However this trip is an unwind and relax at a resort kind. With that said I see "foodies" raves about the food at Impressions which is a good sign but I really have been unable to find much info about spirits and cocktails? You mentioned the bottom shelf but what about premium spirits? Did they have better spirirts, something like a Siete Leguas for Tequila or Hendricks for gin? Are those included so long as you ask for it by brand? We are foodies too but more so craft cocktail enthusiasts. So wondering if I am setting myself up for disappointment at an AI if I am wanting unique higher end tequillas and mezcals while in Mexico?
