Interesting development! While widebody aircraft would likely not work for Aegean, with the current market this may very well work for them - on specific underserved routes. I'd compare this to what ITA airways is doing with their A321's (Which are not even the LR variant I believe) having a lie-flat product, serving specific destinations (e.g. Africa).
Most likely this will take a while before we are actually going to see the product. But once its being introduced we are probably in for a treat when the aircraft are initially used within Europe on established routes.
If they worked it right they could operate one on the LHR route with a short stop over in ATH then continue onto the CIS/Asia . They would pick up quite a varied demographic that way.
