Honestly, you had to be there to see how people were being treated.
Unfortunately most of these people were not frequent fliers, nor familiar with passenger rights and airline processes. They were following instructions as if they had no choice. The agent who intercepted us was delaying them from getting to the gate, at which point they would have been told they were late.
They were not offered compensation till I asked. Which they should have led with.
Every single passenger thanked me after boarding the flight and also after landing at baggage claim.
And I saw similar scenes with screaming and crying passengers on my way in from London. Folks who were claiming they were deliberately delayed (by the awful buses) and forced to miss their connections.
I just don’t like being treated like a fool.
