I have a two night stay next month at the Doubletree Higashiyama and was considering moving it over to the Kyoto Station once I saw it had opened. I think I'll just keep my plans as they were since it would be an extra 20k JPY total - exec lounge and more central location doesn't make up for that. I'll be travelling with light luggage and don't really mind the walk out to Higashiyama anyways.
