At least its a better business model compared to some calls for them to start up TATL. Aegean know where their markets are and have one of the better business class products in Europe so have a good starting point . They have always been cautious and it has worked for them.
TATL would be suicide, agreed. As far as the other potential destinations mentioned in the release
- India they don't have a ASA, all they did is sign a MoU in 2016/17 which is very vague...
- Ethiopia ASA agreed but not signed since 2015
- Kenya similar to India, no ASA, just an ancient MoU
- Nigeria & Kazakhstan ASA partially agreed
