If you fly BKK-HKT, Nok Air http://www.nokair.co.th is a great option. This is Thai Airlines new 'low cost' carrier but they have real business class seats (Nok Plus) on a 737 (4 across, plenty of leg room) for a price that is usually less than than Thai Air's Y class. No FF miles and only a snack, not a real meal but it's really cheap for a business class seat and there plane is nice. AirAsia is even cheaper still but having flown both, it is well worth it to pay a few extra dollars for "Nok Plus" service.
