Can you explain why this is as I hate this rule? It's like a built exception for the property who already is not following the rules. I myself am lifetime Plat, know the rules but even myself can't always take the time to file a report / complaint while still at the hotel (or not yet checked out). Especially on one night stays where I don't have a lot of time, chasing down a hotel that is breaking the rules is not usually high on my list vs my meeting, visiting a customer, sleep and then probably catching an early morning flight.

Can you elaborate why this can't be done post stay? I'm guessing so that it gives the property time to remedy the problem whilst I'm still there right?
