Thanks David. What about in or near the Grand Palace since I’ve already been to Wat Pho? When I was at Wat Pho I did see an area where they were giving massages and found the “tink tink tink” noises made by little wooden mallets used for massage intriguing. What’s the significance of that? Is that “Thai massage?” I had a 60 min “oil massage” at a ZenThai massage place that was very relaxing but they didn’t use the wooden mallets I saw at Wat Pho.
No one has mentioned Wat Arun across the river—worth a visit or just good eye candy to view from across the river? I didn’t see it since I never saw the river from Wat Pho.
