After negotiations, got Deluxe, but was also shown that initial Corner Queen and new Loft type. When fully operational, securing upgrades is certainly more challenging as just 7% of their rooms are bigger ones (Corner or Deluxe).

While CY-s in town give option to get full breakfast as welcome choice, it is not the case here - need to pay extra supplement as 10USD/day credit is not sufficient for that. Breakfast was the weakest of Bonvoy hotels I have seen in Bangkok in terms of quality and choice (unless you just want one egg dish - they have ok selection of those).

There is no pool, but just a small gym.

9th floor outdoor area was quite nice and I reckon that their 32nd floor rooftop, once it opens later in the year will be nice as well.

Uploaded longer review with pictures of breakfast, common areans and 3 room types (Deluxe, Corner, Loft) to https://hotelhoppers.org/p/review-mo...-ratchaprasong

I have decided to stay for a night on my last night to Bangkok, a week ago.

It looks to me that Mariott is positioning Moxy brand differently now (well need to see other recently opened Moxy like the one in KL). I have been staying frequently in Moxy Bandung (the first and only one for few years in SE Asia). I have stayed in Moxy Tokyo, and Osaka (both properties) and also Berlin East (which I was told a bot different concept -- Europe vs American). Moxy Bangkok will have 504 rooms when they are fully open. I was told they are only operating in 1/2 capacity now.

I feel that USD 10/day credit is a bit ridicolous. You still have to to up around B100+ for breakfast. They should just give the breakfast for free or price the breakfast accordingly.

Locationwise, it is kind of love and hate relationship. As in general case in Bangkok, it is really where you want to be in Bangkok. It has direct access to the skywalk (the bridge that connecting the Rajaprashong area). So you can easily cross to Central World or even walk to Platinum/Prathunam Market. BTS is quite a walk away. You can either go to Chitlom (nearer) or Siam (which give you both lines).

As Titanium I was upgraded to the Deluxe room, which is kind of "suite" room to some extend, as it has seperate living room area and it gives the nice view of the city. For the gym, I think it is quite ok size for Moxy, but a bit small for 504 rooms hotel.

As I said, looks like Marriott is positioning Moxy as (lower end) select service hotel now.

Overall, I think it is a not bad hotel if you need to be around that area.

Here are some pictures of the hotel.
