UA likely stopped booking SK early to avoid these straddle cases now being posted. They in the end will create headaches for SK bookings as SK is likely to be making schedule changes (even before the change) to match there new partners / owners. In those cases SK may refuse to accommodate, especially awards. This has happened in the past will alliance departures

It’s not just awards that are blocked but most revenue bookings as well. At some point UA must be held accountable for violations of its alliance agreements.

Unless booked as a non-stop, which don't exist for most of Scandinavia, connections thru FRA, MUC, ZRH, ... will cover Scandinavia quite well
