Not always there are some airports where electronic boarding pass are not accepted (even if printed by yourself) and you need to go to the counter to get the usual one

In such case the airline cant charge you a fee for printing boarding pass , but can for checkin if you fail to do it online before deadline (thats of course if you havent bought the option before hand)
