I have it cancelled at 08:55, so after the gate opened but before push back (or boarding I think). I believe the time in EF is set to Bangalore time.

Thanks @C-W-S the BLR timing makes sense, I've seen that before and asked BA a couple of times previously for my own canx why I wasn't told earlier. But they just push some Avios and never explained. Thanks!
