I have it cancelled at 08:55, so after the gate opened but before push back (or boarding I think). I believe the time in EF is set to Bangalore time.
BA 640 is cancelled and the code is OPEY. G-TTNP was allocated at 0220 bst this morning and deallocated at 0822 bst. It is off to JTR as BA9259P and empty in order to rescue BA 653 from Sunday the 14th which is still there and needing a double nose wheel change with only one on station in JTR. The tech aircraft in JTR is G-TTNB.
Why they’ve left it this late I’m not sure but your friend is certainly entitled to compensation.
