A friend is (was) on BA640/G-TTNP to ATH but they were told at boarding time that it's cancelled. Looking in Expertflyer it appears to say Canx at 0302. Why wait 6 hours before telling pax?

And being told that the aircraft is 'Tech' at the airport when they've just seen it taxy past T5 off to Santorini
