Visited Takimotokan Yukinosato and had a great stay there! Mine room setup wasn't as complex as yours, but I had the little outdoor bath w/ the 20m^2 room. I agree that the dinner was excellent, especially that A5 chateubriand steak. Fantastic! Loved walking around the Yoro falls area and checking out the Yoro park area with the Site of Reversible Destiny. That art site was definitely quirky. The public onsen was quite nice (and since the place only has 11 rooms and not all was filled that day, that public onsen was my private one I guess for the time I was there). Only issue was for the visitors that take the train, it'll definitely take a little while, but they have a shuttle that picked me up at Yoro station. I don't suggest walking up from the station, the ryokan is at the top of the mountain.
