Anyone know how long it usually takes from getting Silver to being able to select seats for free? I made Silver at weekend, but MMB still says I can only select seats from 7 days before flight, which suggests it thinks I'm still at Bronze. When I went to Bronze, the 7 day seat selection rule was applied immediately.

I tried removing my BAEC number and adding it back to no avail, and also tried the BA online support chat, but I'll be honest, I gave up after over half an hour of repeated cycles of "I'll look into this, just hold for 3 minutes" and getting nowhere...

Any advice on how to get the MMB system to recognise the status change?
