The advantages of the current AMD processor architecture are not just on paper but apparent in everyday use. BUT the laptop manufacturers need to do their homework re: thermal managment.
KRSW 's issue is pretty specific. I just ordered a Ryzen system to expand my home lab. I was thinking of installing Google Earth to see if it has any issues. Not quite a 1 for 1, but out of curiosity.
