Tokyo Day 7 - Shopping

Probably the most boring part of the trip report - the last full day in Tokyo we spent going around stores to get souvenirs.

We set off early morning towards Shibuya, where we went to MEGA Don Quijote, a big version of the discount store chain. With 8 floors there was enough to go through; we spent roughly 2 hours there.

A Japanese novelty, flavoured KitKats. We got roughly 2 dozen boxes each with my partner to give away; some of the flavours were strawberry, cheesecake, sake, orange, lemon, and more.

Pokemon branding made it also to the powerbanks...

Later in the afternoon we headed to Ginza, the shopping district of Tokyo. My partner was roaming through the stores while I walked around the streets. One of them had a Formula E car pop-up.

One of the department stores had an extremely rare, expensive whiskey so I snapped the picture. 88m JPY translates to almost half million pounds!

Uniqlo store welcomed us with a linen shirt pendulum exhibit. The store has 12 floors so I let my partner go ahead and joined an hour later to finish at the same time.

Tonight's dinner, Ippudo. Tasted better than in London or NYC

We checked out Edition's rooftop bar but it was freezing cold outside so ended up having a drink inside. That emboldened us enough to pack and stuff everything into the 3 suitcases and 1 duffel bag we ended up over the course of 3 weeks. It was challenging
