I called SAS and they changed my seats for me too yesterday on an American Express booking .
Very nice agent and hardly any wait time.
The drop down on SAS site reservation for "change seat" disappeared after I purchased my seat assignments (booked through American Express Travel to use up points as well as book a 4 flight trip on 1 ticket).
