I will arrive at CDG Terminal 2E with AF at 0630hrs.
My next flight is at CDG Terminal 1 with SQ at 1115hrs. I would like some advice on the following below:
1. If the ticketing agent allows my bags to be transferred directly to my final destination, should I take up that option? I have heard recent issues with baggage being transferred from AF onwards to connecting flights. Or do you reckon it would be safer for me to collect my baggage at Terminal 2E and then check in again at Terminal 1 considering I have a split ticket?
2. How much time do I need to transfer from Terminal 2E to Terminal 1 assuming I have to collect my baggage at 2E and then check in again at Terminal 1? Also, how do I transfer from Terminal 2E to Terminal 1? Will the navigation be straightforward?

1) there is 0 chance that they will check your bag AF to SQ on separate tickets, so claim it in CDG and re-check with SQ
2) once you have collected your bags and cleared customs, when you reach the public zone landside, go left and reach the CDGVAL station (near the Sheraton) and take it until the end of the line (term 1). It should take you 20-25 min.
