Just to update on this, we arrived at Gdansk airport and thought it best to go and get paper boarding passes and when we did, my wife noted that she had been moved to seat 9F for her first flight and seat 34F for the second one. I never realised business class seats were so far back on a Euro flight. Called up PL and was told that when being rebooked yesterday, her colleague made a mistake and obviously did not notice she was business instead of economy.
We are unable to change seats and PL lady said she would start a claim for fare difference refund. Wife also paid £380 for SAF as she is topping up her xp’s as much as possible. PL lady did not know how this would be calculated now.
This is the 4th weekend away in as many months we have had serious issues with incompetence from Flying Blue customer care team. (Munich, Barcelona, Malta, Gdansk) and is really not good enough.
