So, when I return to Bangkok I have the Holiday Inn Silom booked for 5 nights with points. Unfortunately the two Holiday Inns on Sukhmuvit don’t have points nights available for my dates. Am I going to feel isolated in Silom?

While I really wanted to use points, would it be worthwhile just to pay for a room? Now that I’ve finally become well acquainted with the Sukhumvit area I’m not sure I want the added stress of learning a whole new part of town.

Is Silom really well connected by train? Again I don’t want to feel isolated. It’s a shame the HIs on Sukhumvit dont have points availability because that would have been perfect.
