The terrace tree villa was what was available and they wanted me to pay to upgrade for. I ended up not upgrading because the deluxe room is pretty spacious and I’m likely not going to be in the room a lot since I have a pretty packed itinerary.

From reading past posts, I was anticipating they were more willing to do complimentary upgrades to villas for globalists. Seems that has changed now. Interesting to see that they may pick and choose when they give out Villa upgrades.
