Booked a regular two queen, got upgraded to a one king parlour suite - service was incredibly proactive, and that started off with them calling me the morning of my stay asking if a upgrade to a one bed + sleeper sofa suite would be ok, which I really appreciate given how many other hotels will just use the beds as an excuse to not upgrade. The royal club is pretty meh, just a cheese and veggie board/wine each night from Thurs-Sun, but the room was spacious and well maintained.

The property itself is excellent - two massive pools (one indoor, one outdoor), tons of outdoor/indoor activities across the hotel, and a very good breakfast. They seemed to be very lax on what's included at breakfast, we racked up admittedly quite a bill and never saw it touch the folio.
We’ve stayed here 3 times, it was a good deal when it was a Cat 2, as a Cat 3 it’s just okay. The rooms are very dated, both times we went the elevator only worked sporadically and the location is basically in the middle of nowhere.

I like this property as the staff are great, the breakfast is good and we do enjoy the pools but find it hard to justify 12k points per night for me personally. If we can find an Off Peak night and are in the area we’d happily stay for 9k points though.
