Agreed and although I am typically time poor, the day after an overnight flight from East coast USA is often a total horror show and therefore "lost" in any event.
I also sometimes find the BA meal services a bit sluggish on night flights. It's ok if flying to Singapore or HK, but on an East coastUSA flight it would be nice to get the food done as quickly as possible. That said, I guess that there will be a fair few passengers who want to enjoy a more leisurely dinner, and are happy to get by on just a couple of hours of sleep, so I guess you can't keep everyone happy.
