Chilean Patagonia is more about dramatic landscapes including the Andes Mountains, dense forests, and fjords. It's notably home to Torres del Paine National Park, famous for its peaks and turquoise glaciers. The climate is cooler and wetter, supporting lush rainforests.

Argentine Patagonia is more arid steppes, grasslands, and deserts (and iconic sites like Perito Moreno Glacier and Mount Fitz Roy). This side is drier and windier, especially towards the interior, with more distinct seasons compared to Chile.
