You could try "slicker" fabrics that won't hold lint. I usuallly wear fairly dark colors to travel in and haven't particularly noticed lint, even after very long flites. Perhaps you could take your own lint-free blanket?

Speaking of onboard blankets, I've read quite a few articles about how dirty they are and that many airlines don't clean them before repackaging them in plastic. I know I've seen something about personal travel blankets, anyone who has one, where did you buy yours?
