Stayed last week and really liked the place. I got a very warm Platinum welcome, upgrade to a Superior room, a bar of the Irn Bro flavoured chocolate and the comped breakfast. The staff were uniformly lovely.

The physical space of the hotel is excellent and the furnishings are very well done. Most AC's are pretty drab whereas this place has a bit of wow factor. Echoing others, breakfast was the weakest link. Nothing awful but sparse and not amazing quality. Coffee, for example, is a big bucket with "proper" stuff made to order but only if you ask nicely. Is a bean to cup machine too much to ask?

Parking in the NCP is £15 a night, get a ticket from reception when you check out.

No hesitation in staying here again, it's far nicer than the Doubletree for example.
