ElevatorEnthusiast Your reviews have been a big help to me and we seem to travel to a lot of the same places!
I did a one night stay in the Manila Marriott in November and it was a pretty mixed bag. Room was in the West Wing and the lounge manager claimed it was an upgrade, but I am not so sure. It was a standard room overlooking the street, not even the golf course. I was Titanium at the time, so quite disappointing to not even get a room with a better view. Location is walkable from T3 via the bridge, but we took a Grab as we had a lot of luggage and a baby in tow.
Lounge was okay in my opinion. A big open space, wasn't crowded and okay snacks and drinks during evening cocktails. Had breakfast in the main restaurant and it was an absolute zoo. Food was mediocre and it was almost impossible to get a coffee due to the staff being so busy.
There is a decent walk between the west wing and the main building, and as we had a stroller, there was only this slow wheelchair lift to go up and down the stairs, which was not ideal.
Overall, the price was high for the quality of the hotel, was pretty disappointed with my "upgrade", the breakfast was not great, and the rooms not that comfortable.
Won't be back.
