The 747-8 normally operates EWR-FRA, that will probably be your best bet (pricing-wise) for a origin trip out of the US for the 748.
Is there a way to find out the cheapest city pair in the USA (or New York) and Europe, in business class?
I have been playing around with google flights and it seems that cities like London via FRA or Rome via FRA are way cheaper than FRA itself or anywhere in Germany/ LH group hubs!
