yeah i believe for the luxury car dealership partnership, EHI will be the owner and I believe it’s a mix of brand new cars that aren’t selling on the lot or last year’s lot. I think sometimes it may be used because I only rented a BMW with the dealer’s collision repair sticker on it (but maybe the dealer always puts the sticker on all cars on their lot). I heard the partnership is more so to market the Enterprise brand and I guess also new BMWs, Mercedes etc to prospective buyers who end up renting the car and liking it.
the one thing I am curious about is how the engines are on these luxury cars because I doubt renters are using premium fuel and probably also the cheapest gas brand (ie not the top tier gas brand). I was once told by their agent upfront there’s no need to use premium fuel because the tank inside the car is probably just 87 anyways. Apparently EHI doesn’t refuel their cars with 93 either when they refuel their cars.
