It depends on the airport - the I know the AA ones at ORD are run by AA (and subsequently don't show, for example, Contour departures which share the same gates and are staffed by AA (well, Envoy) gate and ramp crew), so they're presumably sourced from the same data that the app gets. An airport where it's displaying all departures though I'd be more weary of.
