This is a feasible option if you have light luggage and some time before your next flight. CDG airport provides a free shuttle bus too, the N2 shuttle, which connects Terminal 2B to Terminal 2E. The shuttle buses run frequently, about every 5 to 10 minutes, and the journey itself takes only a few minutes.

Another option is to use the CDGVAL light rail service. However, for Terminal 2B and 2E, walking or the shuttle bus might be more direct since CDGVAL primarily connects Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 and the parking complexes...
Thanks for the insight, I appreciate it. The feedback I've heard is since 2B is typically for non-Schengen countries currently (i.e.: Canada), that while going into 2B would be similar, leaving 2B without flying out to get back to 2E (or 2F if Air France moves where it's from) for an EU flight might cause me issues. As in, would I have to do border check to go from 2B to 2E/2F --and time factor aside, my answer of "I never left the country, I just helped my family board and now I am going somewhere else" cause me headaches.

I think the tricky part, if that's not an issue, could also be me checking in my luggage beforehand in 2E/2F with the family, and then us getting to 2B to drop theirs. If it really is 10-15min, that's super do-able though! Everyone else made it feel like 1-2 hrs.
