I know some Enterprise branches partner with luxury car dealers to provide loaner cars and these loaner cars get shipped and intermixed all the time between Enterprise customers and the car dealer customers renting via Enterprise. I have rented countless BMWs that were in this set up. Sometimes I think Enterprise just buys the loaner while other times it returned to the dealer after a few years. I know that’s why my local Entwrprise used to have lots of BMWs sitting around. They never have the bar code in the windshield and sometimes even have the car dealer’s stickers and licence plat frames on them.
