Is the T&C about getting trip credit for unused upgrade purchase on their web site? I'm contemplating changing a flight that would result in going back to coach because there's a better routing and timing, and it would give me some $$ back as a trip credit for the reduced coach fare initially paid for. But I want to have the T&C on hand in case I run into issues requesting refund of the $130 upgrade fee I paid and won't use. I only see this verbiage on the web site in their
contract of carriage section. It doesn't include anything about upgrade offers that aren't used.
Can I get a refund on products and services I paid for but wasn’t able to use? ExpandIf the product or service you paid for was provided on an alternate flight, no refund will be provided.
However, these products and services are eligible for a refund if you’re unable to use them:
- Bag fees (refund does not apply to bags bought online)
- Pet fees
- Priority boarding
- Same-day flight change or standby
