There is/should be/was a business-class line for immigration at KLIA1. Maybe it's not well indicated, or perhaps it was as clogged up as the other positions, but it should be one of two central desks, the other for mobility challenged passengers. Being central, it can attract hopefuls and tryers.

If you use KUL regularly, it might be an idea to register for the e-gates. The registration takes place at the immigration desks on the far right (as you face them on arrival): in theory it's a simple process, but it can present challenges......


But yes, MH has gone downhill. Staff, in general, appear demotivated.
