Hotel Not Honoring their own Refund Policy
I recently booked a hotel room at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Erie at the Nonrefundable Prepay rate.
In the cancellation policy, it states that cancellations are allowed for no charge before April 3rd 11:59pm. I have presented the hotel with screenshots of my cancellation showing that I cancelled the reservation before this time at 11:45pm on April 3rd.
The hotel manager is refusing to refund me, giving the reason that the cancellation was made over 24 hours after the initial reservation. In this case, would it be best to dispute the charge with my credit card company?
