The 772s currently based at LGW were delivered between 1999 and 2000 and were refurbished most recently between 2018 and 2022 (although all except one were complete by 2019).
The 772s currently based at LHR were delivered between 1997 and 2009 and were refurbished most recently between 2019 and 2023.
So the oldest 772s are actually based at LHR, although their cabins are typically newer.
