AA was able to place a reservation on 24h hold for me but wasn't able to find the SWU based on the code I got in the email. They suggested I call Alaska but both times I called customer care they just gave me the same code.
Has anyone run into this before and knows the magic words to say to AA/AS to help them find the SWU or get transferred to someone who can help? Or my best bet is to keep HUCA-ing?

Did you call the dedicated upgrade number from the email? Calling general AA reps leads to a mess.
