I still dislike immensely the Premium Plaza run lounge. (Come back Tony and the gang) but the food there is ok with usually a curry and roast beef. Always roast beef since they took over and reminds me of the old findus frozen roast beef dinner (but with bigger chunks of beef) Salad, appetizers and some mass produced chocolate “goo” deserts mean that I usually eat in the lounge and have soup/starter and cheese before putting my head down inboard - especially on the 98. I don’t think you’re affected and check-In will confirm, but filling up in the lounge does the job so fear not. For those affected by the catering company on other airlines - they are being saved from poor mass produced nastiness !!
I found the food out of YYZ better last time--I know what you mean about it being bad, since I have had some awful meals in the past expect back in the days when we had F. I found the lounge food not too bad, but it does not compare to the LHR lounges, to be sure. Fingers crossed for my next trip in a few weeks.
