I checked in for a MLA to CTA flight on their website.

They offer you to buy additional baggage allowance with the warning that it would cost more at the airport.

So I paid $23.22 with credit card surcharge for two more kilos at $11.50 per additional kilo.

Unfortunately I double booked this flight. So I have two tickets. I received an email to check in for one of the tickets but not both.

So the agent tells me my extra baggage allowance is not in the system. I show her the credit card charge for $23.22.

I also showed the email boarding pass which shows the 23.22 charge but it doesn’t say what it’s for. In the end she didn’t charge me and issued a tag.

i guess the double booking complicates the situation but the chances of additional fees made me wary about them trying to charge me more.
