With a 23 hour OA connection overnight, my bet is that they will only check as far as SIN, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.
Good point, I overlooked the overnight, and it does depend on how UA interacts with the partner. They might treat check-in as only to SIN. In that case, UA wouldn't concern themselves with the Indian visa.
