The aircraft essentially reheat food the same way, LHR and LGW do have different food suppliers, so you will get a different meal on LGW-JFK compared to LHR-JFK. But not necessarily better or worse, just a different menu rotation. If you skim this thread (and previous years) you should get a good idea.
