Perhaps I misunderstand what you are saying but EF shows 20+ different P fares for FLL-YOW for 04/22, so it appears to be a matter of married segments in the OP‘s current booking and P0 on AC 1005.
Those are only valid on the nonstop FLL-YOW rouge flight. Which is full anyways.

Sadly this is a HUCA scenario. They can easily exchange the ticket but what you have booked right now will likely need to be fully cancelled and then rebooked. Even dropping just the YUL-YYZ segment (if the system allows it, it may not) will still require repricing and change fee.
