What is your Priority Club status? Diamond
Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Fine for a place to sleep before flying home.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? We booked the cheapest entry level and received a four category upgrade to a 1 King Junior Suite on the top floor.
How are the rooms? Recently refurbished. The carpets smell brand new. Our suite contained a stairmaster exercise machine which was novel. It comprised a huge room with a separate dressing room. Lots of comfortable seating and at the end of the quiet corridor so really quiet. Nespresso machine and stocked minibar. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and separate shower cubicle with a frosted glass screen into the bedroom. There was a separate lav and bidet. Bathroom amenities were branded Antipodes. Robes were lush but the slippers have been downgraded to el cheapos since our last stay.
How is the exec. lounge? It has closed since our last stay.
What was good and what was bad? Good - Newly refurbished and fab upgrade. We took breakfast as our Diamond welcome amenity saving 38. There was a good spread.
Bad - You had to pay 4 for the airport shuttle, which used to be FOC. Nespresso capsules cost 2. Really
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? The original booking cost 73 but owing to flight cancellations we had to move the date. The new booking was 110. Happy to return if flying in late or flying out early.
