Let's say that the flight is fully booked - which happens a lot in specific routes. You call them and you can ask to be in the waitlist in case they are changes / cancellations. If other non gold/ silvers are also in the list, you get priority.
that’s the point, do they or not?
I have used the guaranteed seat policy for gold 3 times, twice it worked flawlessly, once it didn’t.
