I think it depends a lot on the merchant. Some have posted within a few days (giftcards.com, Ace hardware). Others have taken longer (Blue Apron). But, the purchase date should drive the transaction date of the posting, and (assuming you are on an instant status pass) I believe they will adjust your status when Laps post late.
