I was sent a Diamond gifting link as my partner stays in Hiltons 150+ nights a year. I redeemed it in January and entered my HH account number. I was already Diamond so was somewhat surprised to find this month I have dropped to Silver as I know the gifting runs for 12 months once redeemed. Contacted HH [email protected] and they say it is because the code was never redeemed and so basically tough luck. I 100% accepted the gift but didn’t screenshot so have no proof/email. The link sent to my partner was described as ‘do not click the link as it will cause deactivation’ so was careful to only click the once. Anyone else had a problem? Maybe a Hilton weblink glitch?

Have followed up saying how disappointed we are given that we stay 150+ nights a year but just got the ‘computer says no, the code expired mid-Feb’. My travel frequency has dropped since Covid so not in a position to earn Diamond myself and have enjoyed the lounge and free breakfast.

Any suggestions other than one last go maybe threaten to take our 150+ nights elsewhere? Given the warning about the link will only work the once, it seems to me it must be a Hilton website glitch, but as a customer have no way to prove this.
