Booked 4 in J from CPT-LHR and need to book one more but flight is sold out. My son doesn't mind flying in Economy so can I book the 5th Adult in Economy and my son can swap seats with them? Is that allowed? Son is on a Avios ticket and the 5th would be a paid Adult Economy ticket.

Also the flight in Y is £200 cheaper via a OTA. If I book this way can I still pick a paid exit row via MMB.
